Dimitra Giannakoulias

As a consultant, facilitator, and trainer, Dimitra is passionate about realizing humanDimitra 180820 potential. She partners with colleagues and clients to create vibrant workplaces, resilient systems, and healthy cultures that enable organizations to achieve impact and make a positive difference in the world. She specializes in inter-cultural leadership, management, and talent development, and utilizes cross-cultural perspectives to enrich our understanding of human diversity in the workplace. Her aim is to help individuals and organizations transform the workplace to meet people’s higher needs for learning, growth, balance, and community as well as connection to the natural world.

Dimitra works in the public and private sectors, with non-profit and for-profit organizations. Recent projects include:

  • Executive Director succession planning for MIKE Program, a Portland metro area health education non-profit organization targeting at-risk youth
  • Strategic vision alignment and mission evaluation for Farmers Market Fund, a subsidiary of the Portland Farmers Market
  • Executive coaching program evaluation for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), one of the nation’s top healthcare providers
  • A multimedia leadership development curriculum for First Tech, the 8th largest credit union in the United States

In her spare time, Dimitra goes hiking and camping any chance she gets. She holds a graduate certificate in Training & Development from Portland State University, and Master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University.
