Have you ever heard the statement “step into my shoes to understand what is going on”? There is an actual thought process to “stepping into someone else’s shoes” and it’s called Perceptual Position. Perceptual Position is a particular perspective, or point of view from which one perceives a situation or relationship. Various perceptual positions come from the fact that relational experiences always involve more than one individual in communication. During this session, you will experiment what it is like to be in each of the three perceptual positions. You will leave with a clear understanding of how a situation can be experienced differently and ultimately place you in greater rapport with other people.
